Co-operative leadership in Uganda
The CIAT Uganda team just concluded a “Cooperative Leadership Event” in Kampala-Kawanda, Uganda. The event, which took place between the 3rd and 6th of May, was the largest gathering of agricultural cooperatives and farmer organizations in Uganda.
In attendance were 102 leaders and managers of 102 agricultural cooperatives and farmer organizations from all over the country. During the 4-day event, the team benefited from the participation of 50 staff from USADF/UDET, UCA, UNFFE, NCBA-CLUSA, ACDI-VOCA, IFAD, USAID, Technoserve, KCCA, GIZ, CGIAR, Global Communities, ACAV and Agriterra.
